The Friedrich pilot jacket is built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors in cold, wet conditions – think road works, municipal services, or security and logistics roles. As a warm winter jacket with high-visibility features, it combines bright fluorescent yellow with a practical set of pockets: seven in total, including a sleeve pocket, phone pocket, chest pocket and inner pockets, giving plenty of storage for daily tasks.
The outer fabric, a polyester-cotton blend, carries a water-, oil- and dirt-repellent coating, so the jacket holds up well in damp weather and dirty working conditions. The polyester sleeve lining makes it easy to put on and take off, while the fleece lining keeps the wearer warm and can be quickly fitted with a logo thanks to its zip-in design. Elastic knitted cuffs at the sleeves and hem seal out draughts, and the front zip sits behind a storm flap for extra weather protection.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, the highest visibility class for high-visibility clothing, achieved through reflective stripes around the body, sleeves and shoulders, reinforced with sturdy double stitching. It is also certified to EN 14058 Class 3 as cold-protective clothing, offering targeted protection in cool, windy conditions. EN ISO 13688 confirms it meets the general basic requirements for protective clothing.
This makes the pilot jacket well suited to outdoor work in cold weather where visibility and safety matter, such as road construction, municipal services, security duties, or traffic control.
