The Gustav pilot jacket is a high-visibility jacket built for anyone who needs to stay both seen and warm while working outdoors in cold conditions. Its bright fluorescent orange finish and reflective tape running around the body, sleeves and shoulders make it instantly recognisable as serious hi-vis workwear, aimed at buyers who need dependable protection against wind and low temperatures.
The outer fabric is a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton with a water-, oil- and dirt-repellent coating, backed by a polyester sleeve lining and a warming polyester fleece lining. In practice this means the jacket sheds moisture and grime while staying comfortable to wear, and the elasticated knit cuffs and hem keep out draughts for a snug, secure fit. The front zip is hidden under a storm flap for extra weather protection, and the fleece lining has a zip that makes attaching a company emblem straightforward.
Three standards apply to this jacket. EN ISO 20471 class 3 is the highest visibility class, combining fluorescent colour and reflective tape so the wearer is spotted early even in poor light. EN 14058 class 3 confirms certified protection against cold weather, and EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. Together these standards make the jacket a solid choice for outdoor work in cool conditions.
With seven pockets in total, including a sleeve pocket, phone pocket, two side pockets, two inside pockets and a chest pocket, there is plenty of room for tools, a phone and personal items. The jacket suits road construction crews, logistics staff, rail and airport personnel, and any other trades that need to stay visible and warm during winter work outdoors.
