The Vianden hi-vis stretch work trousers are built for anyone working on construction sites, in road building or industrial settings who needs to stay visible without sacrificing freedom of movement. The grey, black and fluorescent orange colourway keeps the hi-vis function intact while the generous use of dark fabric noticeably reduces how quickly the trousers show dirt compared to standard hi-vis workwear.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with 4-way stretch, weighing around 210 g/m², which feels light on the body and gives real freedom of movement when bending, kneeling or climbing. Pre-shaped knees support this mobility further, while zipped ventilation openings help with airflow on hot days. The water-repellent coating keeps light rain and moisture out without making the fabric feel stiff, and concealed zips help avoid scratches while working.
The trousers meet EN ISO 20471 class 1 for hi-vis clothing, which improves visibility in daylight and under headlights, as well as EN 13758-2 for UV-protective clothing with a UPF 40+ rating that shields the skin from strong summer sun. The base standard EN ISO 13688 for protective clothing in general also applies. The thermo-fixed reflective strips, in 7 cm and 8 cm widths, are lighter than sewn-on alternatives and add wearing comfort without compromising visibility.
Practical details include two side pockets, a zipped thigh pocket, two zipped rear pockets, a ruler pocket and a two-part tool pocket, along with an adjustable leg opening secured with press studs. That combination makes the Vianden a solid choice for tradespeople, construction workers and anyone working outdoors in changing weather and demanding conditions.
