The PREVENT® PJO-FR hi-vis jacket is designed for anyone working outdoors who needs more than just visibility – it's built for conditions involving rain, wind, or exposure to sparks. Thanks to its flame-retardant finish and antistatic treatment, it goes beyond what standard hi-vis workwear can offer, making it suitable for more demanding environments.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with a PU coating, giving the jacket durability without sacrificing comfort. Welded seams keep water out even during prolonged rain, while the coating also blocks wind effectively. In practice, that means staying dry and protected through changeable weather. Thoughtful details such as a chest pocket for a mobile phone, two front pockets with flaps, and press studs at the cuffs round out the everyday usability.
The jacket is certified to EN 343, the standard for protective clothing against rain and adverse weather, confirming that both material and construction genuinely perform as wind- and waterproof. Classified as PPE Category II, it protects against medium-level risks. Double reflective strips running around the body and sleeves, plus shoulder reflectors, ensure strong visibility in low light or darkness.
