The PREVENT® hi-vis softshell jacket 8060G is built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors, whatever the weather. Thanks to the detachable sleeves, it converts easily between a full jacket and a vest, making it a practical choice for changing conditions between mild and cold weather. Two side pockets and a chest pocket provide space for small items, while the zip fastener allows for quick and easy wear.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with a 320 g/m² PU coating, which makes the jacket windproof and waterproof while still allowing it to breathe, so moisture from the inside can escape without letting rain in from the outside. The taped seams reinforce this protection at the most exposed points. Inside, the fleece lining in the collar adds comfort against the skin, and the drawcord at the hem plus the hook-and-loop cuff closures allow the fit to be adjusted individually.
The jacket is certified to EN ISO 20471, classifying it as high-visibility protective clothing that ensures the wearer stands out clearly in poor visibility conditions. The 3M reflective material running around the body and sleeves, together with the shoulder reflective strips, keep the wearer visible from all angles, for example in vehicle headlights. The PSA/PPE category II confirms protection against this specific risk.
This makes the jacket well suited to road construction, maintenance and civil engineering work, traffic control duties, or any outdoor role where staying visible in wind and rain is essential.
