The PREVENT® RHG hi-vis rain trousers are built for anyone who works outdoors in all weather and needs to stay visible while doing it. Whether on a construction site, in road maintenance, or during outdoor service work, these trousers keep rain and wind out while their signal yellow colour keeps the wearer seen.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with a 130 g/m² PU coating. This combination makes the trousers tough yet comfortable to wear, without feeling stiff or heavy. The seams are welded rather than stitched, which stops moisture from creeping in at the seam lines - a detail that basic rainwear often skips, and one that makes a real difference in sustained wet conditions. A strong elasticated waistband keeps the fit secure during movement, and the two side pocket openings allow easy access to clothing worn underneath.
The trousers are certified to EN 343, the standard for protective clothing against rain. In practice, this means the material and construction are designed to keep water out and block wind penetration, which matters for anyone spending long stretches outdoors exposed to the elements. The 2 x 5 cm reflective strips on the legs add extra visibility in low-light conditions.
