The PREVENT® hi-vis pilot jacket 174ZO-3 is built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who also needs to stay clearly visible. Its classic pilot jacket cut, hood built into the collar, and detachable lining make it adaptable to changing weather, working just as well as a warm winter jacket or a lighter layer once the fleece is removed.
The 100% polyester outer fabric with PU coating, combined with fully welded seams, keeps water and wind out without making the jacket stiff or bulky to move in. The fleece lining, including the collar, adds warmth on cold days and can be detached along with the sleeves, so the jacket stays useful across different seasons. Two chest pockets, two side pockets, a sleeve pocket and an inner pocket give plenty of room for tools, a phone or paperwork on the job.
Certified to EN 343, the jacket protects against rain and wind – in practice, this means the fabric and construction reliably keep out moisture and cold draughts. The 3M reflective stripes running around the body and sleeves, plus additional shoulder stripes, help wearers stay visible in poor light or after dark.
This makes the jacket a strong choice for road work, construction sites, winter maintenance crews, or any outdoor role where both weather protection and visibility matter.
