The NOMEX® COMFORT Jacket DEAJA01 is a long-cut flame-protection jacket designed for anyone working in environments with a risk of electrostatic build-up. Its classic styling with a lay-down collar and concealed press-stud placket gives it a tidy, professional look, while two patch chest pockets with flaps, two patch side pockets with flaps and a left inside pocket provide plenty of room for tools, a phone or documents. The cuffs adjust via press studs to fit different arm sizes, which is especially useful when the jacket is worn over other clothing.
The fabric is 98% aramid combined with 2% of a special antistatic fibre, made up in a sturdy 260 g/m² quality with an FC finish. This combination results in a fabric that feels durable without sacrificing freedom of movement, and the FC finish adds extra resistance to dirt and moisture from outside. In daily use, this means a jacket that keeps its shape and protective properties even with frequent wear.
The jacket is certified to EN 1149, a standard for antistatic clothing. It ensures that electrostatic charges on the body cannot build up to dangerous levels, which matters wherever flammable substances or sensitive electronics are nearby. As category II PPE, the jacket is designed for tasks involving moderate risk.
This makes the NOMEX® COMFORT Jacket DEAJA01 well suited to industrial work, electrical trades, and the chemical or petrochemical sector, or any setting where electrostatic discharge poses a safety concern. Available in blue and in 24 sizes ranging from 42 to 23 U, it covers a wide range of body sizes and fits easily into existing workwear programmes.
