The PREVENT® 174ZG hi-vis pilot jacket is a weatherproof winter jacket for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors in rain, wind and cold. As a pilot-style jacket with detachable sleeves, it converts into a bodywarmer whenever needed, making it a versatile piece for year-round use. Two chest pockets, side entry pockets, a sleeve pocket and an inside pocket provide plenty of room for tools, a phone and personal items.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with a PU coating, and all seams are taped, which makes the jacket water- and wind-resistant without restricting freedom of movement. The pile lining, which also lines the collar, adds noticeable warmth in cold weather, but can be removed together with the sleeves and collar when conditions call for a lighter layer. The hood is neatly tucked into the collar and ready to use when needed, while press-stud cuffs allow the sleeve ends to be adjusted for gloves or weather conditions.
The jacket meets EN 343, the standard covering protection against rain and water vapour resistance in weather protection clothing, confirming that the fabric reliably keeps out moisture and wind. Reflective 3M tape running around the body and sleeves adds visibility in poor light, useful on roads or construction sites. This makes the 174ZG a solid choice for outdoor work where both weather protection and high visibility matter, from construction and road work to winter maintenance duties.
