These multi-norm work trousers from Blaklader are designed for tradespeople, electricians and service technicians who face more than one hazard on the job at once. They combine flame protection, high-visibility features and antistatic properties in a single garment, while stretch panels at the crotch and seat keep movement easy throughout the working day. A dirt- and water-repellent surface means the trousers keep performing on site even when conditions turn rough.
The fabric, a blend of Modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide, aramid and an antistatic fibre, is inherently flame-resistant, so the protection is built into the fibre itself rather than applied on top, and it won't wash out over time. The 260 g/m² ripstop weave is tough and abrasion-resistant, with CORDURA®/Kevlar®/Protal® reinforcement at the knees that noticeably extends the trousers' life for anyone working on their knees regularly. The three-part tool pockets, the ruler pocket with two knife-placement options and the leg pocket with phone storage are all built to withstand frequent reaching and gripping without giving way.
On the protection side, the trousers cover several standards at once: EN ISO 11612 provides protection against heat and flame, EN ISO 20471 Class 1 delivers visible high-vis protection, EN 1149-5 covers antistatic properties, and EN 61482-2 protects against the thermal effects of an electric arc. Combined with matching knee pads, they also meet EN 14404-3 for kneeling protection. This combination makes the trousers a well-considered choice for electricians and anyone working with arc-flash risk or in hazardous environments.
With a metal-free build, a detachable ID pocket and external certification labels, the trousers are also practically equipped for daily use across changing sites and technical workplaces.
