The Multinorm Jacket 94502JAOE from the Mauser product line is built for anyone facing several thermal and electrical hazards on the same job. Rather than combining separate garments, it brings multiple protective functions together in a single jacket, making it a practical choice wherever the type of hazard can change from one task to the next.
The fabric blends cotton, modacrylic, viscose and aramid with added antistatic fibres, at a weight of 450 g/m². This mix gives the jacket a sturdy feel without sacrificing comfort: it sits well on the body during long shifts, while the dense weave stands up to demanding daily use. Because the arc flash protection is achieved in a single fabric layer, the jacket moves more freely and feels lighter than multi-layer alternatives, without giving up any protective performance.
Certified to EN 17353 and classified as PPE Category III, the jacket protects against the thermal hazards of an electric arc flash (APC 2) and against splashes of molten iron under the E2 rating. It also guards against heat and open flames, protects against electrostatic charge build-up, and resists chemical splashes. Together, these properties make it a genuine multi-hazard solution for workplaces with shifting risks.
This makes the jacket well suited to work on live high-voltage equipment, foundry environments, welding tasks and jobs involving chemical handling. Available in yellow/blue across 23 sizes from 42 to 29 U, it allows teams to find an accurate fit across a wide range of body types.
