The Tyvek® APX™ 400 is a disposable protective coverall for anyone who needs reliable full-body protection against dust, particles and light splashes without overheating during the job. Combining a Tyvek front with a large SMS panel across the back, it offers noticeably better breathability than standard full-body coveralls, making it a strong choice for longer shifts or warmer working conditions.
The polyethylene spunbond fabric is lightweight yet tear-resistant, and the outside-taped seams keep the suit sturdy even during active movement. Elasticated cuffs at the wrists, ankles, face and waist, together with built-in elastication at the sleeves, leg ends, hood and back, give the coverall a snug fit that keeps particles out while still allowing free movement. The covered zip with pin-lock slider is easy to operate even while wearing gloves and closes securely, and the ergonomic hood design is built to work well together with respiratory masks.
The antistatic finish to EN 1149-5 helps prevent uncontrolled build-up of static charge on the suit, which matters wherever combustible dusts or vapours are present. Classified as PPE Category III, Type 5 and 6, the coverall is designed to protect against fine solid particles and limited liquid splashes, making it suitable for more demanding protection requirements in industrial settings.
Supplied as bulk pack goods with a minimum order of 25 units, the APX400 is well suited to businesses that regularly need larger quantities of disposable coveralls, such as in industrial maintenance, trades work, or tasks involving paints, coatings and fine dust.
