The Tychem® 4000 S CHZ6 coverall TY4000SF is a disposable protective suit designed for tasks involving an increased risk of contact with infectious agents, such as work in industrial settings, laboratories, or cleaning and remediation environments. The attached socks and boot covers make it a strong choice whenever full coverage from head to foot is needed, without exposed gaps where the suit meets footwear.
The suit is made from a polyethylene spunbond fabric with a polymer coating, giving it a light, flexible feel while still forming a durable barrier. Taped seams keep liquids and particles from getting through at the seams, and the double zipper with its protective flap adds another layer of security at this critical closure point. Elasticated cuffs, ankles, hood, and back panel help the suit sit close to the body, while the double-sleeve system and thumb loops keep it firmly in place during movement. An antistatic treatment also helps reduce static build-up during wear.
Certified to EN 14126, the suit has been tested against infective agents and is classified under PPE Category III as Type 3B, 4B, 5B, and 6B. In practical terms, this means protection against liquid sprays, splashes, fine particles, and light liquid contact in biologically hazardous environments, such as disinfection work, medical settings, or handling contaminated materials.
