The Tychem® 6000 F FaceSeal 0611 is a disposable protective coverall designed for tasks where liquids, aerosols and solid particles need to be kept reliably away from the body. Its hood features a rubber gasket that seals tightly around the face, protecting the transition to a full-face respirator – a detail that makes this suit especially relevant for wearers of breathing masks in industrial, hazmat or laboratory settings.
The shell is made from a polyethylene spunbond nonwoven with a barrier film, giving it a lightweight feel while still standing up to demanding working conditions. Taped seams keep moisture and particles from penetrating at the seams, while the elasticated waist and the double-flap closure system ensure a secure fit throughout the shift. The back entry with zipper makes putting the suit on and taking it off considerably easier, a real benefit for anyone who changes suits frequently during the day. Attached inner gloves and conductive socks complete the coverage, leaving no open transitions at the wrists or ankles.
Tested to EN 14126, the suit is rated against infective agents and classified as Type 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B, meaning it holds up against liquid jet, spray, fine particles and light splashes in biologically hazardous environments. The antistatic treatment additionally makes it suitable, when properly earthed, for use in areas with an increased risk of electrostatic discharge.
