The Tychem® 4000 S CHZ5 is a disposable protective coverall designed for work involving possible contact with biologically or chemically hazardous substances. The attached hood, elasticated cuffs, ankles, hood edge and back, along with thumb loops, keep the suit close to the body during movement and prevent gaps from opening up. A double-sleeve system and a double zip with storm flap reinforce the areas that are typically most vulnerable, such as the glove interface and the closure itself.
The suit is made from a polyethylene spunbond fabric with a polymer coating, a construction typical of high-quality disposable protective clothing: light to wear, yet with a closed surface that resists liquids and particles. All seams are taped, so there are no exposed needle holes that could act as entry points. The antistatic treatment reduces static build-up in the fabric, which matters in environments with sensitive equipment or flammable materials nearby.
The coverall is certified to EN 14126, the standard covering protection against infective agents. Its classification as PPE Category III, Type 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B means it protects against liquid jets as well as spray, fine particles and light liquid splashes, each in the version extended for biological hazards. This makes the Tychem® 4000 S suitable for tasks with an elevated contamination risk, such as cleaning, waste handling, emergency response, or work involving contact with pathogens.
The suit is supplied as bulk packaged goods with a minimum order of 20 pieces and is available in sizes S to 3XL, making it easy to equip larger teams or cover recurring demand.
