The Tyvek 400 Dual coverall combines proven Tyvek fabric at the front with a large, breathable SMS panel across the back. This construction is designed to reduce heat build-up during longer work sessions without compromising on protection where it matters most, at the front of the body. It suits anyone who needs to wear a coverall for extended periods and values freedom of movement alongside a more tolerable body climate.
Construction features include taped-free outer seams, a hood, and elasticated cuffs at the wrists and ankles, around the hood, and an additional elasticated back panel for a closer fit. The zip is covered by a protective flap, adding extra closure at the front of the torso. The fabric also carries an antistatic treatment, which in practice means less dust and particles cling to the suit through static charge.
The EN 1073 standard confirms protection against radioactive particulate contamination, while PSA Category III Type 5+6 covers protective clothing against solid airborne particles (Type 5) and limited splashes of liquid chemicals (Type 6). This makes the coverall suitable for tasks where contact with fine dust or occasional liquid spray is a possibility.
