The Tyvek® 800J disposable coverall from Asatex is built for anyone who needs reliable full-body protection when working with biological or chemical hazards. The hood, full-length zip with self-adhesive cover and thumb loops keep the suit securely in place during movement and changing postures, avoiding gaps where contamination could get in.
The coverall is made from PE spunbond nonwoven using DuPont's new Impervious Technology. The material is lightweight yet tear-resistant, and the heat-sealed seams stop liquids or particles from penetrating at the joins. Elasticated cuffs, ankles and hood, plus a bound elastic waist, give a close fit without restricting movement while working. The antistatic finish also makes it suitable for environments where electrostatic build-up is a concern.
Certified to EN 14126, the suit protects against biological hazards and is rated PPE Category III, Types 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B, covering demanding requirements for liquid, spray and particle protection. One thing to note: to achieve full Type 3 liquid-tight protection, the cuffs, ankles, hood and zip cover need to be taped separately. That makes this coverall a solid choice for industrial work, laboratory settings, pest control, or cleaning and remediation jobs where contact with liquids, spray or solid particles is likely.
