The PREVENT® WPSO hi-vis polo shirt is the breathable alternative to a full warning jacket, ideal whenever visibility matters but the weather or working environment calls for something lighter. It suits anyone who needs to stand out on construction sites, in warehouses, or around traffic, without giving up the comfort of a proper polo shirt. The contrasting navy blue collar and cuffs add a neat, professional finish on top of the safety features.
The shirt is made from a blend of 80% polyester and 20% cotton. The polyester content gives it shape retention and durability for everyday work wear, while the cotton share adds comfort against the skin and better moisture absorption than a fully synthetic fabric would. This mix makes it a practical choice for wearing under a jacket for extended periods without it becoming uncomfortable.
Visibility is certified to EN ISO 20471, the standard for high-visibility clothing that defines how much reflective and fluorescent material a garment needs to ensure the wearer is seen in daylight and under vehicle headlights. Two 5 cm reflective bands running around the body, plus additional shoulder reflectors, keep the wearer visible from multiple angles, including when vehicles approach from the side or from behind. The PSA/PPE category II classification places the shirt as protective equipment against medium-level risks, the kind typically found in road work or on construction sites.
This makes the WPSO well suited to civil engineering, logistics, road maintenance, and any job that involves working near moving vehicles or in poorly visible conditions where being seen is essential.
