Product information "Overshoe with Sole Model Posa Tyvek 500"
The Posa shoe covers made from Tyvek® 500 protect footwear and work areas reliably from dirt and contamination. They suit any setting where clean conditions matter, such as industrial sites, laboratories or cleanroom work, and can be worn together with a chemical protective suit or on their own. An elastic band at the ankle keeps them securely in place, while the applied non-slip sole provides extra grip on smooth floors.
The outer material is 100% polyethylene (HDPE Tyvek®) and repels water-based liquids and spray mist while still allowing air and water vapour to pass through, which makes the covers more comfortable to wear over longer periods. The material is also low-linting, silicone-free, and forms a strong barrier against fine particles and fibres. Inner seams prevent chafing and keep dirt from working its way in.
As partial body protection, the shoe covers are classified as PPE Category 3, Type PB [6-B] and additionally tested to EN 13034 and EN 14126, which cover protection against liquid chemicals and infective agents respectively. The antistatic finish on both sides, in line with EN 1149-1, reduces static build-up, which matters especially around sensitive electronics or flammable materials.
The shoe covers are not individually packaged and are supplied as bulk goods with a minimum order of 20 pairs, making them a cost-effective choice for regular commercial use in industry, laboratories and cleanrooms.
