The PVC Sierra chemical apron is a disposable protective apron designed for tasks where clothing and skin need to be shielded from splashes and contact with liquid chemicals. Measuring approximately 90 x 120 cm, it covers the torso and leg area generously and is held securely in place with an adjustable neck strap and an elastic waist band fitted with a detectable plastic hook, allowing it to fit different body sizes and stay in position during extended wear.
The outer material is a polyester carrier fabric with a double PVC coating, weighing around 750 g/m² with a thickness of about 0.63 mm. This gives the apron a sturdy, hard-wearing feel suited to demanding daily use: performance data tested to EN 14325 shows high ratings for abrasion resistance, flex cracking resistance, tear resistance and tensile strength, with puncture resistance sitting at a moderate level. In practical terms, this means a tough, grippy surface that holds up well under repeated movement without tearing easily.
The apron meets EN 14605 Type PB [3] for protection against liquid splashes and EN 13034 Type PB [6] for protection against limited contact with liquid chemicals. It also protects against water and oil splashes up to around 180°C and against the permeation of certain liquid chemicals. It does not protect against viruses or bacteria, as it is designed specifically for chemical rather than biological hazards.
This makes the PVC Sierra apron well suited to work in the chemical industry and construction sector, wherever tasks involve splashing or dripping chemicals, water or hot oils. Supplied as pack goods in units of 10, it is particularly practical for commercial buyers who need reliable disposable protection in larger quantities.
