These multi-norm work trousers from Blaklader are made for people working under higher risks who need protective clothing that covers several standards at once. Designed for electricians, road and construction workers, and service technicians, they combine a durable outer fabric with a thin front lining that reaches the higher APC 2 arc protection class.
The fabric is inherently flame-resistant, meaning the protection is built into the fibre itself rather than applied as a coating that can wear off. The blend of modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide and aramid feels soft and flexible on the body, while the ripstop weave adds extra resistance to tearing. Reinforcements made from CORDURA, Kevlar and Protal at the knees hold up well during kneeling work, and the water- and dirt-repellent outer material keeps the trousers looking presentable for longer. Practical pockets, including a rule pocket with a knife holder and reinforced knee pad pockets, keep tools within easy reach.
The trousers are certified to EN ISO 11612 for protection against heat and flames, EN 1149 for antistatic protection, and EN 61482-2 for protection against the thermal effects of electric arcs, with the lined sections reaching the higher APC 2 class. EN 14404 covers kneeling work, while EN ISO 20471 ensures high visibility on roads and construction sites. The trousers are also free from metal components and PFAS and tested against harmful substances to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, making them comfortable even for sensitive skin.
