The Multinorm Winter Jacket APC 2 from Blaklader is designed for people working outdoors in winter under demanding conditions where several types of protection are needed at once, such as electricians, tradespeople, and road and construction workers. It combines high-visibility features, flame resistance, antistatic properties and arc protection in a single jacket, making it suited to jobs where more than one hazard can occur at the same time.
The outer fabric is a twill weave of 75% cotton, 24% polyester and a small share of antistatic fibre, with a weight of 350 g/m². This gives the jacket a sturdy, robust feel without becoming uncomfortable in cold conditions, helped by the warm quilted lining underneath. The surface is treated to resist oil, dirt and water, which keeps the jacket easier to maintain and still usable when things get wet or dirty on site. Practical details such as the fleece-lined, high collar with zip, the adjustable waist and cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening, and the extended back panel help the jacket stay in place and keep the wearer warm even when bending or moving around.
