Product information "Multinorm Winter Jacket APC 2 4069"
The Blaklader Multinorm APC 2 winter jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in winter or around equipment with arc flash risk: electricians, road and construction workers, and tradespeople who need several layers of protection at once. Its comfortable cut and well-thought-out pocket layout keep the jacket practical for daily use despite everything it has to offer in terms of protection.
The double-woven fabric, a blend of modacrylic, FR viscose, polyester, cotton and aramid with an antistatic component, is inherently flame-resistant rather than relying on a coating that can wear off. At 310 g/m² with quilted lining, the jacket keeps the cold out while the water- and dirt-repellent surface shields against wind and wet conditions. Darker panels in areas prone to dirt keep the jacket looking presentable even after heavy use, and the extended back combined with adjustable cuffs adds extra comfort on the job.
This jacket covers a wide range of standards that matter on demanding worksites: EN ISO 20471 ensures visibility from every angle, rated Class 2 in sizes XS to L and Class 3 from XL upwards. EN ISO 11612 protects against heat and flame, EN ISO 11611 makes it suitable for welding work, EN 1149-5 dissipates electrostatic charge, and EN 13034 offers limited protection against chemical splashes. With IEC 61482-2 Class 2 and an ATPV rating of 43.0 cal/cm², the jacket is also designed for arc flash exposure, while EN 342 provides cold protection when combined with other garments. Details such as the removable ID pocket for flame-resistant clothing, externally placed certification labels, and microphone loops on the chest confirm this jacket was built for professionals facing multiple hazards on the job.
