The PL30 lab coat made from Tyvek® 500 is built for anyone working in laboratories or chemical handling who needs protection against liquids and spray without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement. With a shirt collar, five press studs and three pockets, it is practical to put on and take off quickly during busy shifts.
The outer material is 100% HDPE Tyvek®, a nonwoven fabric that repels water-based liquids and fine spray while still letting air and water vapour pass through. In everyday use this means the coat protects without trapping heat the way denser materials often do. The fabric is also low-linting and silicone-free, which matters in cleanliness-sensitive environments, and offers antistatic properties on both sides in line with EN 1149-1.
Classified as PSA category 3, type PB [6-B], the coat is designed for protection against limited liquid contact and spray. EN 13034 confirms its barrier against liquid chemicals in spray form, while EN 14126 covers protection against infective agents. In practical terms, this makes the coat suitable for tasks involving brief contact with chemicals or biological substances, without requiring a full protective suit.
The PL30 is sold as bulk packaging with a minimum order of 10 pieces, making it well suited to the regular demand of laboratories, pharmaceutical production, the chemical industry and medical settings, where disposable coats are typically used in larger quantities.
