These multi-functional work trousers from Blaklader are built for flooring layers, tradespeople, electricians and installers who need their tools organised and within easy reach throughout the working day. The layout is packed with purpose-built pockets, including a ruler pocket, knife holder, phone pocket, ID pocket and dedicated tool pockets with screwdriver compartments, turning the trousers into a genuine working tool rather than just something worn on site.
The outer fabric is a sturdy twill weave made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton at 300g/m², which holds up well to daily wear and keeps its shape over time. The knees and rear pockets are reinforced with CORDURA®, a highly abrasion-resistant material placed exactly where kneeling, sitting and dragging across floors cause the most wear. The inside leg seam is triple-stitched for extra durability under repeated movement, and the metal zip fly along with the metal buttons are built to withstand continuous daily use.
The knee pad pockets can be positioned on two levels and, combined with the matching Blaklader knee pads (models 4027, 4032, 4057 and 4058), meet the EN 14404-3 standard. In practical terms, this means the trousers and knee pads together provide certified knee protection, which matters most when working on your knees on hard flooring for extended periods. The fabric is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, confirming it has been tested for harmful substances, a reassuring point both for individual wearers and for procurement teams sourcing in bulk.
