The Stretch Painter's Trousers from Blaklader are built for anyone who moves constantly on the job and still needs close-fitting, functional workwear. The lighter 2-way stretch fabric sits comfortably throughout the day, while targeted 4-way stretch inserts add extra freedom of movement exactly where the work demands it most. Ergonomically shaped trouser legs further support natural movement. The style is also available as women's model 7232.
The outer fabric is a sturdy twill weave of polyester, cotton and Elastofin at 260 g/m², combining durability with a comfortable feel against the skin. CORDURA® reinforcement is placed exactly where the trousers take the most wear: at the tool pockets, back pockets, ruler pocket and the external knee pad pockets. The knee pad pockets themselves are made from CORDURA® stretch, so kneeling and bending stay flexible rather than restrictive. Care is straightforward, too - a 40°C wash is enough, with no need for bleaching, dry cleaning or ironing.
The trousers come with fixed nail pockets, a specially shaped, reinforced pocket for filling knives, and a leg pocket with gusset, hook-and-loop flap and an inner mesh phone pocket. A knife holder with button fastening, a removable ID pocket, a D-ring on the waistband and reflective details on the leg complete the package. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and tested to EN 14404-3 in combination with certain knee pads, these trousers suit painters and other tradespeople who need a mobile, well-equipped pair of work trousers with reinforcement where it counts.
