The Blaklader X1900 craftsman trousers are made for anyone who moves a lot on the job and doesn't want stiff fabric getting in the way. Whether you work as an electrician, plumber, sheet metal worker or warehouse operative, the pre-shaped legs and 4-way stretch fabric flex in every direction while still holding their shape. The close-fitting slim cut sits well out of the way whether you're kneeling, reaching or grabbing tools.
The fabric is 93% polyamide and 7% elastane in a dobby weave, weighing in at 295 g/m² – sturdy enough for daily site work yet soft against the skin. A stretch mesh panel behind the knee keeps air moving when things heat up during the job. The knee pockets are reinforced on the outside with CORDURA® stretch fabric, while stretch material on the inside gives extra freedom of movement when kneeling, a detail you only notice once you've gone a day without it. The back of the leg opening is also reinforced, protecting the area that takes the most wear during work.
On the practical side, the trousers come with extra-wide tool pockets complete with tool loops and additional compartments, a reinforced ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, and a leg pocket with a zip and bellows. A detachable ID pocket, D-rings and loops for a hammer holder round out the equipment. Reflective details on the calf and leg pocket add visibility when work runs into low light.
The fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances. Combined with certain knee pads, the trousers also meet EN 14404-3, a standard covering knee protection during kneeling work. That makes the X1900 a strong fit for craftsmen and gardeners who spend a good part of the day kneeling or working in tight positions.
