These craftsman work trousers from Blaklader are built for anyone who needs freedom of movement on the job without giving up rugged functionality. Whether you work as an electrician, gardener, sheet metal worker or warehouse operative, the stretch panels across the front, calves, back yoke and crotch let you kneel, reach and stretch without the fabric holding you back. The trousers are available for both men and women, with 28 sizes covering a wide range of body types.
The outer fabric is a hard-wearing twill weave made from polyester and cotton. The 4-way stretch panels at the front, knees and back yoke, together with the 2-way stretch insert in the crotch, mean the trousers move with you instead of restricting you. Cordura® reinforcements on the kneepad pockets, tool pockets, scraper pocket, back pockets and rear leg hem take the brunt of the wear in the areas that see the most friction on site, adding real durability to the garment.
The pocket layout is designed with everyday trade work in mind: the kneepad pockets accept knee protection and are tested to EN 14404-3 together with the 4027, 4032, 4057 and 4058 kneepad models, which means defined protective performance when kneeling on the job. Tool pockets with tool holders, a reinforced ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, a flexible phone pocket and a detachable ID pocket keep tools and personal items organised and within reach. Reflective details on the leg improve visibility in poor light, and the fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
With wide belt loops, a hammer loop, a D-ring on the waistband and a reinforced inner leg seam, these trousers are built for daily use on the job and suit any trade that needs to combine freedom of movement with well-organised carrying capacity.
