These craftsman work trousers from Blaklader are built for anyone on the move all day: tradespeople, electricians, sheet metal workers or warehouse staff who need freedom of movement just as much as smart pocket layouts. The trousers come in both a men's and a women's version (model 7132), spanning 30 sizes from C94 to C68 to fit a wide range of body types.
The fabric, a blend of polyester, cotton and Elastofin woven as twill with 2-way stretch, is reinforced with 4-way stretch panels exactly where movement matters most on the job. At 260 g/m² the material stays light without feeling thin or flimsy. The knee pad pockets and tool pockets are further reinforced with CORDURA® stretch fabric, which noticeably extends the lifespan of the areas that see the heaviest wear.
The equipment on this pair shows real trade know-how: sturdy nail pockets, a reinforced ruler pocket with knife holder and pen pocket, leg pockets with a pencil pocket and an inner mesh phone pocket, plus reinforced bellows-style rear pockets. Hammer holder loops on both sides, a D-ring on the waistband and a plastic zip fly complete the package. Reflective details on the legs add extra visibility in poor light.
The ergonomically pre-shaped legs support natural movement when kneeling, bending or climbing on site or in the warehouse. Combined with matching knee pads, the trousers meet the requirements of EN 14404-3, confirming a defined level of protection when working in a kneeling position. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, indicating textiles tested for harmful substances.
