These craftsman work trousers from Blaklader are built for anyone who needs to move constantly on the job without feeling restricted – electricians, sheet metal workers, gardeners and warehouse staff will all find a trouser that moves with them rather than against them. Compared to classic workwear trousers, the cut is slimmer and closer-fitting, giving a more modern silhouette without sacrificing function.
The fabric is a slightly thinner 4-way stretch material made from polyamide with an elastane blend, double-woven and weighing 230 g/m² for a light feel against the skin. In practice this means the trousers flex in every direction, sit close to the body and don't hold you back when bending, climbing or working overhead. CORDURA® reinforcement at the hanging pockets, back pockets, ruler pocket, leg pockets, knees and hem means the areas that take the most daily wear are built to last longer.
The pocket layout is equally well thought out: the knee pad pockets open from below and are further reinforced with CORDURA® stretch fabric, keeping knee pads securely in place while the pocket itself stays tough. The holster pockets can be removed when not needed, the ruler pocket comes with a knife holder and pen pocket, and the bellowed back pockets add extra storage. Loops for hammer holders on both sides plus reflective details on the leg for better visibility round off the features.
That combination makes these trousers a strong fit for tradespeople who carry a lot of tools day to day but still want a slim, flexible fit – whether on a construction site, in electrical work, or in landscaping and garden maintenance.
