These craftsman trousers from Blaklader are built for people who spend their day on the move – electricians, sheet metal workers, gardeners or warehouse staff who need trousers that move with them rather than restrict them. Unlike classic work trouser cuts, this model is slimmer fitting and looks narrower, without sacrificing freedom of movement when kneeling, bending or reaching overhead.
The fabric, a double-woven blend of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane with 4-way stretch, flexes in every direction, which makes a real difference when crouching, climbing or squatting on the job. At 230 g/m² it stays light enough for long working days. A mesh insert behind the knees adds extra ventilation, a welcome detail on physically demanding shifts. CORDURA® reinforcement at the knee pad pockets, rear pockets, ruler pocket, leg pockets and lower leg hem toughens up exactly the areas that see the most wear on site.
The pocket layout is equally practical: knee pad pockets with a bottom opening allow easy insertion of pad inserts, holster pockets and gusseted rear pockets add extra storage, and the ruler pocket with knife holder plus the hammer loops on both sides keep tools within easy reach. Reflective details on the leg improve visibility in low light, useful on construction sites or outdoor jobs running into dusk.
