The FT46 textile composite trainer is a safety shoe for anyone who wants a lightweight, sporty fit without giving up reliable protection. Instead of a heavy steel toe cap, it uses a fibreglass toe cap paired with a penetration-resistant composite midsole. This makes the shoe fully metal-free, non-magnetic, and free of nickel and iron - ideal for workplaces where metal is a problem or where staff pass through detectors.
The direct-injected mesh fabric with KPU cage delivers strength without adding bulk, while still letting air reach the foot, which makes a real difference over long shifts. The padded collar and the well-cushioned comfort footbed further reduce foot fatigue, and the energy-absorbing seat area cushions impact with every step.
Certified to S1PS ESD SR FO, the FT46 combines toe protection and penetration resistance with anti-static ESD protection for use in environments sensitive to electrostatic discharge. The rubber outsole is slip-resistant as well as fuel and oil resistant, and the anti-static, silicone-free construction makes it a sound choice for manufacturing, painting, electronics work, and glass handling, where silicone contamination is a concern.
