The Composite Action Leather Mid Boot is a safety shoe from the CompositeLite Work collection, built for work environments that demand both strong protection and freedom of movement. It's aimed at anyone who wants to avoid metal components altogether without compromising on safety, since the entire construction is 100% metal-free and noticeably lighter than a traditional steel-toe boot.
Instead of steel, this model relies on composite materials: the toe cap and midsole are made from composite construction that protects without conducting cold or adding unnecessary weight to the foot. The padded collar adds comfort through long shifts, while the energy-absorbing heel area cushions impact with every step. Because the boot is non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron, it also works well in settings where metal parts on the body would be a problem.
When it comes to protection, the Composite Action Leather Mid Boot meets the S1PS SR standard: the composite toe cap guards against impact and compression, the puncture-resistant midsole stops sharp objects from piercing through from below, and the outsole is slip-resistant, oil-resistant and antistatic. The antistatic property helps discharge static build-up in a controlled way, which matters in environments with sensitive electronics or flammable materials. The dual-density sole combines a stable outer layer with cushioning underfoot.
The boot comes in black and is available in sizes 36 to 48, covering pretty much every foot on the job site.
