The Portwest Compositelite Eco S1P Safety Trainer is built for anyone who wants genuine comfort on the job without compromising on protection. It looks and feels like a sporty sneaker while delivering the performance of a full safety shoe, and the rear pull tab makes it quick and easy to put on and take off during a busy shift. A padded collar adds extra comfort without creating pressure points.
The upper is made from a modern knitted fabric produced from recycled PET bottles, resulting in a construction that is noticeably lighter than traditional leather and flexes with the foot from the very first wear. Inside, the breathable 3D mesh lining helps keep feet comfortable over long working hours, while the gel-cushioned insole absorbs impact with every step. Even the packaging is recyclable, reflecting the environmentally conscious approach behind this model.
On the safety side, the shoe is certified to S1P and built entirely metal-free: the toe cap and the penetration-resistant midsole are made from composite material instead of steel, which saves weight and makes the shoe non-magnetic as well as nickel- and iron-free. The antistatic construction helps dissipate electrical charge, the fuel- and oil-resistant outsole with SRC rating provides slip resistance on ceramic and steel surfaces, and the energy-absorbing seat area at the heel reduces strain with every stride. A dual-density sole completes the protective package, and the shoe is CE certified and UKCA marked.
