The Portwest Compositelite Trekker Plus is an S1P safety boot built for anyone who needs dependable grip and protection on demanding surfaces without giving up comfort. Its defining feature is the external TPR chassis system, which stabilises the ankle from all sides – a step beyond standard safety boots that only reinforce the sole or toe area. A rear pull tab makes the boot easy to put on, and the padded collar keeps it comfortable during long shifts.
The suede and textile upper combines durability with a supple feel that doesn't have the stiffness typical of safety footwear. Velour leather adds a smart, contemporary look that sets the boot apart from purely functional designs. The dual-density sole unit layers materials of different hardness to cushion each step, while the energy-absorbing heel seat softens impact on hard ground.
As an S1P boot, it includes a metal-free penetration-resistant midsole and a composite toe cap instead of steel, guarding against sharp objects and impact or compression risks without any metal in the construction.
