The Steelite Loire is a safety trainer that combines a modern, sporty look with full protective performance. It suits anyone who needs dependable safety gear for daily work without giving up comfort or a contemporary appearance, making it a strong choice across trades, logistics and industrial settings.
The upper is made from cow suede leather, specifically selected for areas exposed to high abrasion, giving the shoe a sturdy, long-lasting build. The toe area gets extra reinforcement from a leather overlay, adding durability exactly where boots take the most punishment. Comfort comes from a lightweight dual-density EVA/rubber sole, complemented by innovative flex zones in the outsole that keep the shoe stable and flexible with every step. A pull tab at the heel makes the shoe quick and easy to put on and take off during the working day.
Classified as S1P HRO, the Loire brings together several key safety features: the steel toe cap guards against impact and compression, while the penetration-resistant steel midsole protects against sharp objects underfoot. Antistatic properties help reduce static build-up, and an energy-absorbing heel area cushions impact with every step. The SRC-rated outsole provides slip resistance on ceramic and steel surfaces, is heat-resistant up to 300°C, and stands up to fuel and oil exposure – all valuable traits for demanding, variable work environments.
