The Portwest Kompositelite is a modern safety trainer built for anyone who needs quick, secure fastening without sacrificing freedom of movement on the job. Instead of traditional laces, a wire lacing system lets you tighten or release the shoe in seconds while spreading pressure evenly across the foot, adapting comfortably to different foot shapes. A pull tab at the heel makes stepping in even easier, a small detail that matters when the shoe gets put on and taken off several times a day.
The knitted upper replaces classic leather construction, making the trainer noticeably lighter than conventional safety footwear while keeping the foot cool and ventilated - a real advantage in warm, dry working conditions. The dual-density sole combines two materials of different hardness, bringing cushioning and stability together in one outsole.
As an S1P-rated safety shoe, the Kompositelite uses a composite toe cap instead of steel, cutting weight while still delivering full toe protection. The non-metallic midsole guards reliably against sharp objects underfoot without adding bulk, and because the shoe is also nickel- and iron-free as well as non-magnetic, it suits work environments with strict metal-free requirements. The antistatic build dissipates electrostatic charge, the energy-absorbing heel seat reduces impact on the heel, and the slip-resistant, fuel- and oil-resistant sole delivers secure grip, particularly on ceramic and steel flooring.
This makes the Kompositelite a strong fit for industrial, logistics and production settings where frequent shoe changes, slippery floors and the need for a light, well-fitting shoe all come together. Available in three colourways and a full size range from 36 to 48.
