The TAS-50 sleeve protectors from the Tyvek 500 range shield forearms and sleeves from dirt and contamination whenever standard workwear isn't quite enough. Designed as disposable items, they suit businesses that need to equip staff quickly and reliably with extra arm protection, for example in cleaning, laboratory or production environments.
The material is a polyethylene spunbond, typical of the Tyvek family: lightweight yet tear-resistant, and comfortable to wear over longer periods. Elastic cuffs at the top and bottom keep the sleeves in place without slipping, while inner seams prevent chafing against the skin. The blue seam at the top makes visual checks quick and easy, useful for training new staff or during quality inspections. The antistatic treatment also reduces static build-up during use.
Tested to EN 14126, the sleeve protector guards against the penetration of infective agents and is classified under PPE Category III as Type PB 6B. In practical terms, the material forms a barrier against biological hazards, making it suitable for tasks involving possible contact with contaminated liquids or particles.
Supplied as bulk goods with a minimum order of 200 pieces, the TAS-50 is aimed primarily at commercial buyers, such as those in cleaning, waste management, food processing or medical settings who need a steady supply of disposable protection.
