The TFAS sleeve protectors from the Tychem® 6000 range provide targeted, replaceable protection for arms and forearms wherever personal protective clothing needs an extra layer against contamination. They suit anyone already wearing disposable protective garments who needs focused coverage for particularly exposed areas, for example when handling contaminated materials or infectious substances. The one-size design with wide elastic bands at the wrist and upper arm ensures a secure fit without restricting movement.
The material is a polyethylene spunbond fabric with a barrier film, forming an effective seal against liquids and particles while remaining light to wear. The taped seams eliminate weak points at the seams, keeping protection consistent across the entire surface of the sleeve. The antistatic finish reduces electrostatic build-up, a relevant feature in environments with combustible dust or sensitive electronic equipment.
Tested to EN 14126, the sleeve protectors guard against infectious agents, making them suitable for tasks involving possible contact with biologically contaminated liquids or particles.
