The TYKO lab coat from the Tyvek 500 range is a disposable coat designed for anyone working in laboratory or cleanroom settings who needs dependable protection without sacrificing comfort. Featuring a collar, elasticated cuffs and five press studs, it fits securely and can be put on or removed quickly, making it a practical choice for daily use in labs, maintenance work or production environments.
Made from polyethylene spunbond, the material is lightweight and flexible yet sturdy enough to hold up to everyday demands. Inside seams reduce friction against the skin for a more comfortable fit, while the antistatic treatment helps lower the risk of electrostatic buildup, a detail that matters in sensitive work areas.
The TYKO meets the EN 14126 standard, which covers protection against infective agents, and is classified under PSA category III as type PB 6B. In practice, this means the coat provides reliable barrier protection against limited splashes of biologically hazardous liquids, making it suitable for tasks where contamination risk is a concern.
