The TYSH overshoes from the Tyvek 500 range protect footwear and the lower leg from contamination and are designed for environments where hygiene and cleanliness are essential to the workflow. An elastic band at the top keeps the overshoes securely in place, while additional straps allow for individual fixation around the leg so they stay put even during movement.
Made from polyethylene spunbond, the material is lightweight yet durable, and the inward-facing seams prevent chafing or fraying while keeping particles from escaping. The antistatic finish reduces electrostatic charge build-up, which matters in sensitive work areas where sparking or dust attraction needs to be kept to a minimum.
Certified to EN 14126, the overshoes are built to protect against infective agents, and their classification under PSA Category III, Type 6B indicates limited protection against liquid splashes and sprays. This makes the TYSH overshoes suitable for settings with strict hygiene requirements, such as laboratory and cleanroom work, pharmaceutical and food production, or medical environments.
