The Tyvek® 500 PP33 jacket TYJAK is a disposable protective jacket with a hood, designed for tasks where clothing gets soiled or contaminated quickly and needs to be changed without hassle. The zip fastener allows for fast putting on and taking off, while the hood also shields the head and hairline, making the jacket a practical addition when combined with other protective gear.
The material is a polyethylene spunbond nonwoven, typical of the Tyvek 500 range: lightweight yet tear-resistant, and comfortable to wear without restricting movement. The taped-in seams keep fibres and particles from getting through at the stitching, and the antistatic treatment reduces the build-up of electrical charge, which matters in dusty or spark-sensitive environments.
The jacket is classified as PSA Category III, Type 6B, and meets EN 14126, the standard covering protection against contamination by infective agents. Type 6B stands for limited protection against liquid splashes, the kind of protection needed in cleaning, laboratory or care settings where contact with liquids is possible but not constant.
With a minimum order quantity of 50 pieces, the jacket is supplied as bulk pack goods geared towards regular workplace demand, for example in cleaning services, industrial settings, healthcare environments, or anywhere disposable protective clothing needs to be kept in stock in larger quantities.
