The TYK-RV is a disposable coat from the well-established Tyvek 500 range, built for anyone working in laboratories, decontamination areas or medical-technical settings who needs dependable single-use protection. With a collar, zip fastener and two pockets, it goes on and off quickly and offers noticeably more comfort and practicality than basic pull-over coats without a closure.
The fabric is a polyethylene spunbond nonwoven, the material Tyvek is known for: light, tear-resistant and comfortable against the skin, yet stable enough not to rustle uncomfortably or tear during longer shifts. Elasticated cuffs keep the sleeves close to the wrists even during movement, while the internally bound seams stop liquids or particles from penetrating through stitch holes. The antistatic treatment also reduces static build-up in the fabric, which matters in environments with sensitive electronics or combustible dust.
Certified to EN 14126, the coat protects against infective agents, making it suitable for tasks that involve contact with biologically contaminated liquids or particles. Classified as PSA Category III, Type PB 6B, it meets the requirements for partial body protection against liquid chemical splashes, positioning it for users with a clearly defined protection need rather than casual, everyday wear.
