The TYK3T is a disposable coat from the Tyvek 500 range, designed for anyone working in laboratories or other environments with biological hazards who needs dependable, no-fuss single-use protection. With a collar, three attached pockets and press studs for quick fastening, it is cut to go on fast while still offering enough room to carry small items during work.
The fabric is a polyethylene spunbond nonwoven, the material Tyvek is known for: lightweight and tear-resistant, yet comfortable to wear rather than stiff or scratchy against the skin. Inner seams keep threads and edges from protruding, which improves wearing comfort and reduces the chance of weak points along the stitching. The antistatic finish is a real benefit in settings where static build-up could interfere with sensitive processes or equipment.
Certified to EN 14126, the coat protects against contact with infectious agents, making it suitable for laboratories, diagnostic settings and other environments with biological risk. Its classification as PPE Category III, Type PB 6B, indicates particle-tight protective clothing with limited spray protection, giving a solid baseline of protection for tasks involving contact with biological material or fine particles.
