The Nitras SPORT STEP MID W is a mid-cut safety winter boot designed for anyone who needs reliable protection and warm feet when working outdoors or in cold environments. Its sporty styling and well-padded shaft keep the foot securely in place while still feeling comfortable, making it feel more like a rugged winter boot than typical heavy-duty safety footwear.
The boot is made from durable full-grain leather in black, giving it the toughness to handle demanding conditions over the long term. The PU/TPU outsole is resistant and non-marking, so it stays grippy and clean even after extended wear. Inside, a full winter lining paired with a dedicated winter insole keeps feet warm, while an all-round reflective strip improves visibility in low-light conditions.
On the safety side, the boot meets the S3 CI standard: a fibreglass toe cap protects against impact and compression, a textile penetration-resistant midsole stops sharp objects from below, and both components are completely metal-free. The CI marking indicates cold insulation of the sole, while SRC confirms particularly reliable slip resistance on different surfaces. The boot has also been tested according to DGUV Regel 112-191 and falls under PPE risk category II.
This makes the SPORT STEP MID W well suited to outdoor work during the cold season, including construction sites, general building trades, logistics, and warehouse or yard work where cold, wet conditions and mechanical hazards come together.
