The Nitras SOLID STEP MID is a mid-cut safety boot designed for anyone who needs dependable foot protection on the job without sacrificing comfort. The well-padded shaft keeps the foot securely in place, while the ergonomically shaped COMFORT STEP insole supports long shifts of standing and walking with real ease. Its modern design brings together protective performance and a look that works well in a professional setting.
The hard-wearing black upper is built to withstand daily wear and tear, and the black/blue PU/PU outsole delivers the best possible slip resistance (SR) while standing up to the demands of everyday work. The heel lining makes putting the boots on and taking them off noticeably easier, and the reinforced heel in sturdy microfibre together with the extra heel cap add real stability where it matters most. The toe cap is made of fibreglass and is therefore completely metal-free, a clear advantage in environments with metal detection or ESD requirements.
Classified as S3S CI FO SR, the SOLID STEP MID protects against mechanical hazards through its toe cap, guards against sharp objects underfoot with a textile penetration-resistant midsole, and offers the slip resistance already mentioned. The additional markings CI and FO indicate cold insulation and resistance to fuel oil in the sole, while SR confirms the highest level of slip resistance. The boot is also ESD-capable for use in areas with electrostatic discharge risk and has been tested to DGUV Regel 112-191, placing it in PSA risk category II.
This makes the SOLID STEP MID a solid choice for trades, industry, logistics and warehouse work – anywhere feet need reliable protection against impact, puncture and slipping, combined with comfort that lasts through a full shift.
