The Nitras SPORT STEP FIT is a safety trainer built for anyone working on construction sites, in trades, or in logistics who doesn't want to give up sporty comfort for protection. Rather than looking like a traditional safety boot, it features a modern, athletic design while still delivering full safety performance. A standout feature is the twist closure of the FIT SYSTEM 711, which lets you tighten the shoe to a precise fit in seconds — handy whenever you need to get moving fast.
The shoe is made from durable full-grain leather in black, giving it a sturdy base that breaks in comfortably over time. The PU/TPU outsole is hard-wearing and non-marking, which is especially useful on light-colored floors. A heel lining makes putting the shoe on and taking it off easy, while the reinforced microfiber heel keeps the shoe stable through daily wear. The ergonomically shaped insole supports comfortable footing throughout the working day.
Rated S3, the SPORT STEP FIT delivers solid all-round protection: the fiberglass toe cap guards against impact and compression while staying metal-free and lighter than a traditional steel cap. The textile penetration-resistant midsole protects against sharp objects underfoot, again without any metal content. Slip resistance rated SRC provides grip on oily and wet surfaces, and the ESD-capable construction makes the shoe suitable for workplaces with electrostatic discharge requirements. An all-around reflective strip improves visibility in low light. The shoe is tested to DGUV Regel 112-191, Type 1 and Type 2, and falls under PSA risk category II.
