The STEP safety shoe from Nitras is built for anyone who needs dependable foot protection on the job without giving up on good looks. The steel toe cap and penetration-resistant steel midsole guard against the everyday hazards of manual and industrial work, while the flattened heel supports a natural rolling motion with every step.
The shoe is made from durable full-grain leather in black, giving it the robustness needed for daily wear on site as well as a good level of longevity. The PU/TPU outsole is built to withstand demanding work environments, and the ergonomically shaped insole keeps the shoe comfortable even during long shifts. An additional toe cap overlay protects the front of the shoe from extra wear and abrasion.
Certified to safety class S3 FO and tested according to DGUV Regel 112-191, the STEP combines toe protection and midsole puncture resistance with the best available slip resistance (SR) and a closed, fuel-resistant heel area (FO). Classified as PSA risk category II, type 1, it is designed for moderate workplace hazards, particularly where sharp objects or wet conditions are part of the job.
This makes the Nitras STEP a solid choice for trades, logistics, construction-related work and industrial settings where reliable protection needs to go hand in hand with everyday comfort. Available in width 11, it offers plenty of room and a secure fit even over long working hours.
