The Nitras SONIC STEP MID FIT is a mid-cut safety boot built for anyone who needs to gear up fast without compromising on protection. Instead of traditional lacing, the FIT SYSTEM twist-lock closure lets you get a precise, secure fit in seconds, making it ideal for jobs where speed matters just as much as safety. Its sporty design also sets it apart from more traditional-looking safety footwear.
The boot is made from durable split leather, giving it long-term resilience, paired with an EVA and nitrile outsole that holds up well under heavy daily use. A well-padded shaft and heel lining make the boot easy to put on and take off while keeping comfort high through long shifts, and the reinforced microfiber heel adds extra stability. The COMFORT STEP insole is ergonomically shaped to support the foot even during extended periods of standing.
The S3S FO HRO SC SR safety rating covers a broad range of protection. The fiberglass toe cap guards against impact and compression, while the textile penetration-resistant midsole is completely metal-free and reliably protects against sharp objects underfoot. FO and SC indicate resistance to fuel oil and chemicals, HRO protects against brief contact with hot surfaces, and SR denotes a particularly slip-resistant sole. The boot is also ESD-safe, making it suitable for environments where static discharge needs to be controlled, and it is certified under DGUV Regel 112-191.
