The SONIC STEP FIT by NITRAS is a safety shoe built for anyone who needs a quick, secure fit combined with sporty everyday comfort on the job. Instead of traditional lacing, the FIT SYSTEM with its 712 twist closure lets you adjust the fit in seconds and keeps the shoe snug even with frequent putting on and taking off. Its ergonomic shape and sporty design make it a strong choice for anyone who finds bulky safety footwear gets in the way.
The upper is made from durable split leather, paired with a resilient EVA/nitrile outsole that provides cushioning and stability across different surfaces. The COMFORT STEP insole is ergonomically shaped to support the foot during long shifts, while the heel lining makes slipping the shoe on and off easier. A heel reinforcement in sturdy microfibre adds extra stability around the heel without adding unnecessary weight.
On the safety side, the shoe meets class S3S with the additional markings FO, HRO, SC and SR: a metal-free fiberglass toe cap protects the toes from impact and compression, a puncture-resistant textile midsole blocks sharp objects from below, and the outsole delivers the best possible slip resistance along with resistance to fuel and heat contact. ESD capability also makes the shoe suitable for workplaces with electrostatically sensitive areas, and certification under DGUV Regel 112-191 confirms its suitability for tasks with corresponding foot protection requirements.
